[discuss] technical vs societal issues (was: Report from the BR meeting local organizing group - Dec 2013)

OK, so, to be blunt, propose a solution. Criticism's easy, solutions are hard. 

As one of my favourite ambassadors in Geneva is fond of saying "There are two kinds of people. Those who make a point, and those who make a difference." Anyone can do the former, far fewer people, it seems, the latter.
