Dear Carlos,

I’ve participated in many drafting sessions over the years in many venues, so I understand and appreciate the difficulty. I know and respect many of the individuals involved in the drafting and I appreciate the time and effort they have put into this effort. My comment is not intended as criticism of the individuals on the drafting committees.

Other venues have streamed editing sessions remotely and they seem to have gotten their work done.
I’m not proposing that remote participants have any more rights than the observers in the room.

BTW Carlos, I don’t see you very often so I’ll take this opportunity to say I also appreciate the good work you have done as well.
:-)

Chip

Luckily there are many people present as observers in the room following this very open, respectful and professional process.
