[discuss] Fwd: [1net-Steercom] kick-off and Introduction

Dear Adiel
Thanks so much for this update.
I am of course, not speaking for business, as there are five business participants, but I am asking a few general questions.
Process: Can I confirm that the group's Mailing LIst will be archived and available for reading for all interested parties?
I do think it could be useful to have a regular schedule of conference calls [BUT NOT weekly].
I realize that some of us will be in Geneva for IGF Consultation and CSTD WG Enhanced Cooperation, or at the ICANN 49 meeting in Singapore. I am sensitive that while this is a time slot that might bring many -- but not all -- participants together, we might want to plan for effective remote participation, should we take this opportunity for a face to face.
Substance: Is it possible that we can start a discussion about what work this group will do, and then incorporate the technical community's participants quickly?
And, finally, Happy New Year to all colleagues.
Thanks to AFRINIC for the supporting infrastucture to support interaction and engagement.
Marilyn Cade
