Crossposting is also bad netiquette, because if someone does a "reply to 
all" then their postings to lists-for-which-they-don't-have-a- 
subscription will cause them to a bounce message, and also cause the 
moderators of those lists to have decide whether to accept a posting 
from a non-subscriber. That's being conservative in what you send.

Meanwhile I'm sure I'm not alone in using an email client which 
de-duplicates such inbound material, and only presents me with one copy. 
That's me being liberal in what I accept.
