[discuss] Weekly statistics for mailing-list: discuss at 1net.org

I dont find it a bit deal to delete one summary email every week, so I don’t mind the existence of a currently dormant list. 

A need could easily arise again.  For instance, some of you will know that the current Netmundial Initiative is about to go through a transformation to become an activity of cgi.BR – without the top level involvement of World Economics Forum and ICANN (although they may stay involved in some lesser role than as principal partners) . We are awaiting details, but that could lead to a more bottom up involvement – and there are quite a few people beginning to think about a follow up NetMundial Conference in say 2019.

So I think a forum like this might be useful again as this progresses and we know more about what is being planned. If there is something that needs or could benefit from open and broad cross-constituency discussion, I’m not sure what else exists that could do this effectively.

Since this suggestion is coming from a committee member then I assume it has been discussed within the group?. If not I suggest that be done.
