The CI Declaration's recognition of "Internet Justice" is quite admirable, but I am unaware
of 1net taking any position regarding this principle. To establish a second nominating
committee based on such a principle would be premature (to best of my knowledge, at this
time the only foundational statement of principles for 1net is the Montevideo Statement on
the Future of Internet Cooperation)
1net can't take any position, it is just an open discussion platform, isn't it ?
How something that is not incorporated, representative or organized can't take a position on
something ?
Jorge -
I think it should be possible for 1net to have documented consensus outputs (and that
includes statements of position or support); my point was simply that we do not yet have
process for formally adopting such outputs, which appears to be an important prerequisite.
