While I also support this, I however think it may be too early to split the
list. Making it a guided topic approach may be appropriate for now in other
to help list members find value in this; 1Net is still in the marketing
phase ;)

+1 actually you are spot on Jorge; some of the authors in this list write
quite a number of pages to make just a few points. Once we start limiting,
we will then start witnessing a few points with reference to many topics
that does not necessarily relate to a particular thread of subject (because
the author has a limit he/she wants to address as many issues as possible)

++1 while I am also not a fan of the long threads, I am however a fan of
openness(which is the reason I am on this list in the first place); if this
list is perceived to be the most inclusive forum for IG issues then we
should not make it "restrictive"

Cheers!

mails per day per person to make it easy for everyone to follow and prevent
few and same people to overload the mailing list (the number of 4 was
suggested but that is disputable). I know some will jump that it is will be
breach to freedom of expression :-) (which in fact will be somehow true),
but frankly it is becoming not easy to keep track of everything posted on
the list. (I have to catchup with 300+ emails after few days off)
Can_we/should_we do anything at all about that? Thoughts?
