<div dir="ltr"><div>Adiel, I see the problem, but one of the challenges is that many threads have been opened - which is good - and people are naturally inclined to chime in, hence the self-feeding explosion. </div><div><br>
</div>An additional challenge is the tendency of threads to lose focus as people - understandably - follow the dynamics of the discussion. <div><br></div><div>I do not know if a formal restriction is the right answer yet - maybe at that stage, just a recommendation to voluntary respect this limit would be useful. </div>
<div><br></div><div>But a more important move could be to identify in the numerous threads, a few topics that could lead to closure through action and try to structure them, with one person/volunteer moderating the discussion to maintain focus. </div>
<div><br></div><div>A good example was the thread regarding the calendar of events. I'm sure there are others. </div><div><br></div><div>Accomplishing small operational steps useful for all would greatly help the sense of positive contribution of this list. </div>

As to it being a breach of freedom of expression, if that's argued I would argue against it. After all, you are not prevented from expressing yourself, you are simply incentivised to do it more briefly and concisely, or to do it tomorrow ;)<br>
