There is a lot of talk of orphans but those referred to most often - child protection, law enforcement, tax, etc - are those which are amongst the least 'orphan' issues that exist.<br>

Can we find a better term than orphan? While there are some issues
which are not being worked on, a good part of this problem is when
the person/entity asking the question is unaware of the work being
undertaken. That is not a orphan issue as much as a disparity of
knowledge on work being undertaken on issues and I'm afraid were
using orphan as an umbrella term. The CSTD work is exceedingly
helpful in bridging the latter problem and identifying where the gap
actually exists...<br>
