Thanks SM. I saw that from Seun's response. While AFRINIC has sponsored and was present at that WAIGF (As we do for all the regional Africa IGF), the final declaration was mainly developed by the West African Community (that has organised its own IGF). It does not reflect AFRINIC official view on the matter. As you can see many sponsors and global organisation present at the event were listed in there but I can guaranty you that it doesn't means that they have been consulted and endorse everything in the declaration. That is the view of the regional community (including civil society) which we have no means to dispute in the context of that particular declaration.
