Agreed.
And besides some well know facts most of the issues and problem statement
under discussion are based on perceptions and hypothetical situations.
While the alleged USG control over IANA is perceived by many as a problem,
operationally since the first IP packet was delivered and the first domain
was added to the root zone this control has not been a problem. I'm not
going to deny that we have some rough and tense situations but so far the
system has been working fine.
Then, once again, what is the problem that are we trying to solve ?
