In military terms "somatic" refers to physiscal/human losses as 
opposed to immaterial/psychologic ones.

The further announcements on 4 committee chairs and 11 countries will 
tell more about the ICANN/GS1 intended relations over ONS. But the 
bio of various members speaks enough.

Intelligence is not so much about what people say, but about who 
meets who, how and where. This is why NSA keeps metadata.
